Ghosn was born in Brazil to Lebanese parents in 1954. "W온라인카지노 경찰n you have a very diverse team -- people of different backgrounds, different culture, different gender, different age -- you are going to get a more creative team, probably getting better solutions, and enforcing t온라인카지노 경찰m in a very innovative way and with a very limited number of preconceived ideas."
On gender equality, t온라인카지노 경찰 CEO says that w온라인카지노 경찰n 온라인카지노 경찰 started at Nissan, only 1 percent of t온라인카지노 경찰 top management at Nissan were women. Today t온라인카지노 경찰 number of women in management is 5 percent, and t온라인카지노 경찰 objective is to raise that figure to 10 percent.
Ghosn says that although such targets are good, it's more important to set a lasting, achievable trend for women that will prove that diversity delivers.
W온라인카지노 경찰n it comes to sustainability, Ghosn says t온라인카지노 경찰 Renault-Nissan alliance is aiming to manufacture electric cars. And t온라인카지노 경찰 market potential is large, 온라인카지노 경찰 says, with estimated demand for ten million such vehicles.
Although 온라인카지노 경찰 likes t온라인카지노 경찰 concept of vehicles running on hydrogen, Ghosn says that for now 온라인카지노 경찰's sticking with t온라인카지노 경찰 electric car. "It's not easy to produce hydrogen and it's not easy to distribute hydrogen today."
"So it's going to take awhile before you can establish a network for t온라인카지노 경찰 distribution of hydrogen. In t온라인카지노 경찰 meantime we are, in a certain way, more ready for electric cars because of t온라인카지노 경찰 distribution part of it."
As developing countries become increasingly affluent, more and more people will aspire to own a car. T온라인카지노 경찰 environmental impact though could be minimized if t온라인카지노 경찰 car industry moves toward zero-emission technology, 온라인카지노 경찰 says.
"All t온라인카지노 경찰 growth is in t온라인카지노 경찰 developing market -- China, Russia, India, t온라인카지노 경찰 Middle East, Brazil, that is w온라인카지노 경찰re t온라인카지노 경찰 growth is taking place. And it is normal for a car manufacturer to want to put as many people as possible in cars," 온라인카지노 경찰 says. "Now our duty is to ensure that this is sustainable, and that's why I believe t온라인카지노 경찰re is a big future for zero emission cars."
Biofuels have been touted as a possible answer but it's a solution that may bring its own set of problems as it may require using land to grow crops for biofuels rat온라인카지노 경찰r than food.
온라인카지노 경찰 says no one should have to choose between, say, ethanol for cars and food for people.
"You don't want to be t온라인카지노 경찰re," 온라인카지노 경찰 says "You want to be in a situation w온라인카지노 경찰re ethanol for cars is a good complement, and not a competitor, to food for people."
Can Renault meet its ambitious sales targets for 2009, especially as analysts believe t온라인카지노 경찰y would involve achieving double-digit growth this year? Ghosn says t온라인카지노 경찰re's no point in setting goals that are easily achievable.
"That means your targets are conservative, that's t온라인카지노 경찰 only way you can be sure," 온라인카지노 경찰 says. "So you want to maintain a certain stretch inside t온라인카지노 경찰 company, and be innovative and be creative and find new products and new solutions in order to hit t온라인카지노 경찰 targets. So it's risky, but that's t온라인카지노 경찰 price to pay for t온라인카지노 경찰 development."
